ENTRY & PROCESS

How to start.

Candidates can start from zero experience. A medical certificate is required before flight training, and the first step is a consultation, interview and introductory flight where appropriate.

Minimum age

Training consultation may start from 16 years of age, subject to regulatory requirements for each licence or rating.

Medical

Class 2 medical is normally required at the beginning for private pilot training. Higher training may require higher medical standards.

English

Basic aviation English is important. Operational English Level 4 is the target for licence privileges where applicable.
